Wu-Ftpd & Subnets!
 

Hi there,

Ive just configured Wu-ftpd on a Redhat 7.3 system for guest login only. Everything was OK when the box was configured for a /24 bit mask. Then I put a Cisco pix firewall in front of it and configured it to run on a /27 bit mask (224). Thats where it went wrong because now ftp doesn't work at all! not even locally! I tried different subnets but it seems it will only work on a standard Class A, B, or C. Does anyone know why this has happened or where I went wrong!

P.S. I can still browse the web and send and receive mail through the pix so I don't think there's a problem there. Its only ftp which has the issue.
