Writing and executing a program

Ok, i made a firewall and scripted the whole thing using iptables and the like. I named it rc.dantesgate which doesn't run when I sh it because it looks for 'dantesgate (start|stop|restart|status)' I tried to put it in the sbin but it says I, root, don't have permission to use it. Is there a way I am supposed to format this to run correctly? I would like to add it to the rc.local file to run automatically. I looked around but nothing comes up close to my problem. Thanks in advance!

Heh... Answred my own question. But for all that are interested in Shell programming, this is how you make it executable:

 chmod +x filename
And that's it! Always the tedious stuff that gets me!
