Writing an alias!


I would like to run apache every time the machine restarts, because I have a web page runing on apache.

Umm... Well I think you can add everything you need to run to your /etc/rc.d/rc.local script so that the processes would start with your system. Hope this helps.

What distro are you using? Try(as root):

chkconfig httpd on

That should set apache to run automatically at boot up.
