Write on PDF, like FoxitReader?

Any nice linux software like foxitreader for windows, that allows you to "write" or type on a pdf, ie fill out a form. FoxitReader runs fine under wine, but I'm still wondering. Thanks!
I should also say, I realize you can covert to a pic or whatever, then manually edit it, but a simple solution built into the program without conversion, like foxitreader, is more desirable.

To fill out PDF Forms you can simply use Adobe PDF Reader for Linux.. works the same as it does on Windows..

Of course you cannot save forms that are filled out (you can't in the windows version either) so just print the document through ghostscriupt to get a new PDF document that contains the information you filled in on the form..
