Would love to try Cinelera

I am trying to compile Cinelera. The configure and make process appear to run fine. When I rund make install the following is returned.

DsHP:/home/david/program-files/cinelerra-1.2.2 # make install
make -f build/Makefile.cinelerra install
make[1]: Entering directory `/home/david/program-files/cinelerra-1.2.2'
make -C cinelerra install
make[2]: Entering directory `/home/david/program-files/cinelerra-1.2.2/cinelerra'
rm -f /usr/bin/cinelerra
cp x86_64/cinelerra /usr/bin
cp: cannot stat `x86_64/cinelerra': No such file or directory
make[2]: *** [install] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/david/program-files/cinelerra-1.2.2/cinelerra'
make[1]: *** [install] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/david/program-files/cinelerra-1.2.2'
make: *** [install] Error 2

There is no executable being built. Any tips?

David

I ran into the same problems trying to compile it so I searched for the binaries for my system and installed the binary package.

Thank's. I have now installed the binaries. These seem to be working fine. I still would like to compile from gz but it looks like that won't happen.

It looks like they recently broke the makefiles in a bad way. I started reading through them, got impatient (because I removed an old version and wanted to run the new version NOW! ), and grabbed the binaries instead.
