WMWare Workstation kernel headers issue

Hello,

I'm having an issue running VMWare Workstation on OpenSuse Tumbleweed. I've installed it using
Code:
sh ./VMware-Workstation-Full-14.1.1-7528167.x86_64.bundle
Now when I execute it, it displays:
Quote:
Before you can run VMWare, several modules must be compiled and loaded into the running kernel.

Kernel Headers 4.15.2-1-default
I have installed kernel-default and kernel-devel but is still not able to find the headers.

Output of uname -a
Code:
Linux mypc 4.15.2-1-default #1 SMP PREEMPT Thu Feb 8 06:53:26 UTC 2018 (b34965a) x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
However, ls -l on /usr/src outputs:
Code:
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root  14 Feb 18 23:57 linux -> linux-4.15.3-1
drwxr-xr-x 1 root root 276 Feb 19 18:11 linux-4.15.3-1
drwxr-xr-x 1 root root 12 Feb 18 23:57 linux-4.15.3-1-obj
drwxr-xr-x 1 root root 12 Feb 18 23:57 linux-obj
drwxr-xr-x 1 root root 70 Feb 14 12:16 packages

I don't understand this and don't know what to make of it. In /usr/src there is a newer version than the my current running online?
Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you!

Yes, that's the appears to be the problem. Wrong version. Just upgrade to the latest kernel, reboot, and it should work.

Obviously you did this over the course of almost 2 weeks, looks like you installed Vmware on the 8th of Feb. and your kernel has been upgraded three minutes to midnight almost 2 weeks later. You probably have both kernels installed, just need to boot to the new one.
