.wmv music files on linux?

Is there any programs that can play the windows media format or .wmv of videos or songs??

You can play video's with mplayer for sure. I think xmms can play music files but I'm not sure if it does out of the box but I suspect you can just download a plugin for it.

mplayer with the w32codec pack can play WMV videos.

There's a wma plugin that lets you play WMA files on xmms.

xine also plays .wmv files
