I sometimes go to certain websites that have videos on the WMV format and whenever I use any of the linux programs to veiw them I cannot. What linux based video based program can read these I believe are windows media files?
You can use MPlayer or Xine based players as long as you have the right codecs. How you install the codecs will depend on the distro that you are using, so maybe you should give us that info if you need detailed instructions.
