wireless mouse in mandrake 9.1

I am trying to install a wireless mouse in my Mandrake 9.1 system. The mouse is micro innovations brand and uses a usb reciever. I think a generic wireless driver or something might work, but I have no clue how to even try that. If anyone has any ideas on how to try and get this mouse working that would be great, by the way this is on a Gateway laptop if that helps any. Thanks everyone
