winmx plugin for giFT?

I've seen lots of questions asking how to get WinMX to run under Linux, and everyone keeps on whining about wine, but I havn't seen my question (perhaps I just didn't look hard enough...)

Anyway, I know that giFT connects to FT, Gnutella, and OpenFT, but anyone know if there's a plugin for getting it to connect to the winmx network? And what network IS the winMX network? Is it just its own, or is it part of a larger one? I thought I remember reading about Morpheus using that same network, but it could've been the FT network.... Anyway, I'm rambling....

Oh, and does anyone have OpenFT working properly? For some reason, it keeps on closing on me after a while, and I don't know why, all the other networks stay connected....

have you googled for winmx plugins? as it's closed source, i'd doubt it is every going to happen. opennap started but quickly died off again.

openFT is working great, and there's loads of data on it, mainly from poisoned, an openft specific client for mac.
