I just got my WinLinux2003 CD and tryed to install the program. About half way into the data transfer process it stops and gives me an error message: An error occured during the move data process:-106..........Component: WinLinux2000 System\etc-Config Files...........File Group: etc-Configuration Files.........File: CDROM
Does this mean that the CD has a bad file? If so, how does one fix or get around it? I did everything recomended to prepare the HD and followed all the instructions, several times. No luck. I tryed every way of getting it to load, control panel add/remove programs, from the desk top and from my computer. Still no luck. I did get another error message telling me that c:\Linux already existed and that I could not load the program with it there and that it needed to be deleted if I wanted to continue. Back to add/remove programs, it's not there. I hit start and click on find file, again, not there. I go to my computer and open c drive and explore every window or system file there, c:\Linux is nowhere to be found. At this time I have three messages at
support@winlinux.net that no one there seems to feel like answering. The only other thing that might be of use here is that I think they wrote this program around the redhat 7.2 kernel.
