WineX CVS


ok im a newbie when it comes to linux, i have had linux for a week and it took me two days to get my internet connected and i just figured out how to install my Nvidia drivers but now im stuck getting CVS winex to work. I am using this guide: linux-gamers.net/modules/wfsection/article.php?articleid=45 I start it up and it gets to step 5 "make" step, then it gives me this error

i forgot to mention i am running mandrake 10.1 x86_64

I'm an old hand at linux, but I paid the $15 and downloaded the cedega and point2play binaries for a couple of reasons - mostly because it's easier and better. It also supports the developement and moreso subscribes you to the very helpful website features.

In the above it's looks like you are missing a necessary library - common problem when compiling...

Since you have had trouble with easy things like internet and video drivers, it may be too hard to run winex like this. Subscribe and get the better tools. It will be hard enough for a newbie doing that...
