winex & cs | nothing happening :(


i have mandrake 9.1

i type i console: 'wine cstrike.exe' (i`m in cs directory) and... NOTHING happening... i`m waiting and... nothig...

i see:
"
[hunter@localhost Counter-Strike] wine cstrike.exe

"

i don`t know what to do
same thing is happening when i want to start any oder exe file..
please help!!!

You need to type winex[version] then the exe if you are using winex. If you have issues with the game crashing, do "winex3 cstrike.exe -gldrv Default -w 1024" If you use winex3 that is.

What version of Wine are you using? The pay transgaming version or the CVS?

I think you'll find he just has wine. WineX is very seperate. Try reading http://www.frankscorner.org/
