WineX and Counter-Strike
 

I have WineX, actually cedega, or whatver, and it runs Counter-Strike, great very fast, except when I clock to go to net games, it doesn't think it's updated to 1.5, should I try steam, or does anyone know why, I tried the one on my windows, and the one I installed in Linux, both have the update installed.

ONe reason is that STEAM is taking over counter-strike completely, now. They alllowed people to play counter-strike BELOW version 1.6. Now, however, they are forcing everyone to play on STEAM. I don't know if they implemented this change, but that could be the case as to why you can't play Counter-Strike 1.5.
