Winex and Call of Duty + renice???

Ok Call of duty is REALLY a 3/5 like transgaming says. Has some major irritations!
But overall I think it runs Decent. It would be nice tho if it didn't kinda lag up when I'm trying to shoot.
I did
Code:
renice -5 23435
which was the pid of wine and it sorta ran better but I noticed somtimes my mouse would slow down. Is that because there wasn't much resources left for the mouse daemon or something? I don't know what exactly would be the best idea for this but I want a fairly good amount of resources put into whatever game I am doing. I was thinking I could edit the ./codmp wrapper and put a renice command in there but I don't know how to do that. Help please.
