WineX Acid/soundforge support

hi,
fairly new to linux running gentoo happily need to know will WineX support sonic foundry/sony apps IE: acid 4-5, soundforge coz im gonna be putting gentoo on my other box which i use for music recording and production but before i do i want to know if ill have support for my music appz right now its running win2k but i would really prefer a linux distro on it so in summary will WineX on a gentoo box support acid and soundforge (directx 9 appz) fully ,naturally with very little noticable differences

I can't answer your question, but if it turns out to be "no" then you might consider alternative applications:
Soundforge = Audacity
Acid = Ardour

thx i have audacity...havent tried ardour will check it out today also had another question about vst/vsti plugins i know they depend almost exclusively on directx in very certain ways anyone know if they are supported?
