Angry Winex !!!!

ive been posting my problem over and over , havent got any help yet .... , so im gonna post this one last time ..... when installing wine everything goes fine up until it says installing registry keys (or something like that) than i get /root/.wine/winserver-dhcp-340-654 no such file or directory .... i kept posting that ... no help ... so just a couple minutes ago I went into root , and created the folder wineserver-dhcp-340-654 and i tried installing again , this time it found the folder but instead i got /root/.wine/winserver-dhcp-340-654/socket cant find the stupid file or folder , so i created a folder called socket ... but i guess its a file called socket not a foulder , the install said socket is not a socket .... so , please help ....

it is probably a redhat issue, redhat 9.0 once again changed things and broke some compatibility, check on trangamings website and see if the rpm has been tested for redhat 9, or iif it is only tested for 8.0 and below

No, you just dont read and follow directions that people give you.

Did you compile with pthreads support?

you can run winserver by just typing wineserver in the shell
do compile it right with redhat its:
./configure --with-ntpl --with-x --disable-trace --enable-opengl --disable-debug

run 'winesetuptk' from a shell, this will do the installation for you, than just copy your games in your wine/fake.windows directory, and play

well, first you have to check out if its working under wine, games which work under wine are listened in www.transgaming.com
if you wanna installe it mount the cd, if its on cd, and typ:
wineserver
wine setup.exe
setup.exe should be the install file
