winecheck

ok i just compiled wine and can use notepad and calc but nothing else...

so i ran winecheck and it came back with two two critical tests and two failed tests so i was wondering if anyone knows how to help me correct these

1 critical:024. Checking availability of winedefault.reg entries... CRITICAL (entry "SHAREDMEMLOCATION" not found in system.reg registry file)

2 critical:- 025. Checking availability of windows registry entries... CRITICAL (entry "Default Taskbar" not found).

3 failed:008. Checking Path option... FAILED (/mnt/windows is not writable for you).

4failed:003. Checking config file access... FAILED (/home/justin/.wine/config not writable).

i have a full version of win 98 on my other partition which is freshly installed and not had enough use to become unstable...any help in fixing these 4 errors would be greatly appreciated...also i am running this as a normal user and not root under the logic that i would normally run this that way should i be using wine as root?

thanks in advance
-justin
