Wine won't run

When I type in wine sol like the readme file said in wine, the terminal just says this:

[orange400@localhost orange400]$ wine sol
wine: cannot open /home/orange400/.wine : No such file or directory

What's happening?

you dont have wine installed is what it is saying

well, it's saying you haven't actually configured wine for yourself. afaik there is a pgroram called winesetuptk which will generate the config informatino for you.

btw. be aware that wine is very much in developement, and very likely to give you a lot of problems without a huge mount of tweaking. you should always try to find native applcations, with wine as a very last resort.
