Wine with Red Hat Linux

Hi,
Does anyone have any idea if Wine is shipped with Red Hat linux by default? Does Wine come as part of Red Hat Linux instllation CDs or we need to download it from the Wine website?

Thanks in advance,
Tushar.

I'm not so sure but you can find the rpms here: http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/epel/

i downloaded all the wine* rpms and installed all of them, works like a charm.

What version of Redhat?
I hope its not Redhat 9 or earlier. This is old and out of date.

Modern distros, such as Fedora, Debian or Ubuntu come with Wine. In Fedora, installing it is as simple as "yum install wine", and in Debian or Ubuntu "aptitude install wine".

Thanks Ian,
I have Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES release 4 (Nahant Update 3).

But I dont see wine listed in the package list for 'Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES 4'.

http://www.redhat.com/docs/manuals/e...otes/es-amd64/

Any idea if it is available? I dont have wine installed on the machine... at least its not in the path and I dont know where to look for it... :-(

Thanks for the reply.

Regards,
Tushar
