wine winmx filenames
 

I'm running Mandrake 9.0 and wine version 20020804 that came on the cds. When using WinMX, the search window doesn't show the filenames, but all the other stuff is there, like bitrate, size, etc. Anybody solved this problem? I've tried changing the fonts and nothing helps, imported all Windows fonts with drakfont. I tried codeweavers-wine and it would not load WinMX at all. WinMX is otherwise fully functional.

i updated to the latest version of wine and everything is now fine with winmx

i got the latest version from the wine website

Which Version of Wine Was That?
 

I am trying to find out what the latest version of WIne is that I can install under Mandrake 9.0. The newest builds required Glibc 2.3.2 which, as far as I have read, will break some / all of the apps that came with Mandrake 9.0.

Any info would be appreciated.

As far as I know, the latest version of Wine that can be used with Mandrake 9.0 is the one on the distro cds, wine-20020804-3mdk.
