wine using windows installation

Is there an advantage to using an existing windows installation in wine?

Will more programs run?

I posted the same question in frank's corner wine forum but I don't know when will someone there reply.

Thanks in advance.

In the windows installation you will have more third party DLLs which are not required by Windows (not integral part) but some programs make use of them.

Yes this will help running more programs, coz some programs use their own DLLs (when you have a program preinstalled) or they use optional DLLs with windows.

and REMEMBER wine has almost all the windows core DLLs.
