Angry Wine US CHESS LiVE

Hi folks,

Been werkin with Wine heah tryin ta get USCHESSLive runnin.

Problem: I can't figure out what *.exe is called. I know I installed the program to c:\program files\uschesslive4\.

How can I browse that directory/drive, and better yet, where is the C: drive located?

I know I have to run #wine "c:\program files\uschesslive4\*.exe" to launch the chess interface.

But how the hell should I know what the file is called without seeing directory listing?

Thanks!

N*

assuming your are root, the path to your windows driectory is

/root/.wine/c

It is a hidden directory, you have to actually type it to see it... it wont appear in the gui or with ls

If your not logged in under root, go the the home folder of the user, and add the rest of the path.

example: /home/user/.wine/c

Hope this helps

[root@BASEMENT root]# /root/.wine/c
bash: /root/.wine/c: No such file or directory
[root@BASEMENT root]# /.wine/c
bash: /.wine/c: No such file or directory
[root@BASEMENT root]# /home/user/.wine/c
bash: /home/user/.wine/c: No such file or directory
[root@BASEMENT root]#

???

[root@BASEMENT root]# wine
Wine 20030618

Usage: wine [options] [--] program_name [arguments]
The -- has to be used if you specify arguments (of the program)

Options:
--debugmsg name Turn debugging-messages on or off
--dll name Enable or disable built-in DLLs
--help,-h Show this help message
--version,-v Display the Wine version

???

Huh?
