WINE update trouble
Hi, I use Mint 18 and opted to install WINE the most recent release I think it was 2.0, whereas Mint by default uses and older version. I find I cannot update WINE the updater read that the site WINE is from "is not signed".
I tried to open WINE to get it to run iTunes: brendan-ThinkCentre-M92p brendan # wine cnfg err:winediag:SECUR32_initNTLMSP ntlm_auth was not found or is outdated. Make sure that ntlm_auth >= 3.0.25 is in your path. Usually, you can find it in the winbind package of your distribution. fixme:dwmapi:DwmIsCompositionEnabled 0x6dbd1518 fixme:iphlpapi:NotifyIpInterfaceChange (family 0, callback 0x69ebd3de, context 0x9c64d0, init_notify 0, handle 0x12ae1a0): stub err:winediag:SECUR32_initNTLMSP ntlm_auth was not found or is outdated. First, did you look at your post? After 9 years here you do not bother to use code tags to make it readable?
Second, running Wine as root is not supported. |
How are code tags done?
