WINE running iTunes anyone?

I have WINE 3.0.2 running in Mint 19. But once again WINE does not run iTunes, does not install it from .exe it says there is something missing. Needs Windows 7 service pack 1 64 or newer.

Has anyone else got this running in their Linux distro to tell of?

Apple has made the corporate decision not to support Linux users. I suggest running Windows or MacOS, if full iTunes compatibility is important to you.

According to WineHQ's AppDB, Linux users have had varying experiences with iTunes, ranging from "silver" (minor issues that do not affect typical usage) to "garbage". No user in the past 10 years has ever given iTunes a ranking of "gold" or "platinum."

I noticed a Comment from user MICHAEL on March 23, 2018: "When installing iTunes, Windows Version must be set to Windows7, otherwise it will not install." You might find MICHAEL's comment useful in troubleshooting your "Windows 7 service pack" issue. Please note that MICHAEL was using Wine v. 3.4 on the OpenSUSE distro.

Well worth scrolling through the other Comments and Bugs.
