wine running eBahn software

I have a shop manual for my car on CD. It is sold by Bently Publishers, and the only platform they support is windows. It runs software called "eBahn" software, and I can't seem to get it to work. I run codeweaver's crossover office, and this is not one of the apps they claim to support. I've had about 50/50 luck installing apps they don't support.

This one seems to install fine, but one thing that raised my suspicion is supposedly there is a point it is supposed to ask for a product code to prove you didn't pirate the thing, and I never saw that dialog box. So, I'm wondering if the install is crashing before then and I don't know it.
it installs a comdlg.dll, and I wonder if I'd be better off with the native one?

If anyone has got this working, or can give any insight, I'd appreciate it.
