soon to be linux newbie here, im installing red hat 9 when i go home today. i was reading the earlier post about wine, and i want to install it. I visited the wine website, and i am lost as exactly what to download... theres sources and binaries and packages and all the others.
Could someone send me a link to what i should download? (The easiest way to install it if possible). Thanks for all the great help.
Your RedHat installation CDs might come with Wine - check those first, for the easiest to install. Otherwise, you'll probably want to get the Dataparty RPM. If there are troubles with that, try installing from source.
ok, i went to that site, and found the rpm listings, i see the date you mentioned, but theres one like Wine-O and one Wine-Devel or something... what do i download?
