I am kind of new at this. I am trying to install an old version of Mathcad7 using wine. The install seems to go ok. When I try to run the program, it starts to come up and then freezes. In the terminal window I get:
using wine mcad.exe:
fixme:ole:CoRegisterMessageFilter stub
using winedbg mcad.exe:
fixme:winedbg:be_i386_is_func_call Unsupported yet call insn (0x10) at 0x7fc28c6c
fixme:ole:CoRegisterMessageFilter stub
I am using a slackware version (slax).
Anyone know anything that I can try to get this to work ?
First, do some Googling to see if anyone has gotten this to work. (Not everything will work with wine)
Also, take a look at the supported list for CrossOver office (the commercial version of wine) http://www.codeweavers.com/
