Wine problems...

I'm unable to run any Windows program with Wine!
After I type : wine anyprogram.exe
it says:

You didn't setup properly the config file for the Wine multimedia modules.
or
Please add a WinMM section to your Wine config file.
or
they say a dll cannot be found but it is in the directory in which I launch the program.

I read man wine and also the Wine User Guide in pdf format, but there is absolutely no information about those problems!

Thanks for your help!!!

WinMM?????

I now dowloaded the latest mandrake rpm of wine from rpmfind.net and I installed it.
Whatever program I try to run, it still says :
Please add a WinMM section to your Wine config file.

What is that WinMM section and how can I add one in the config file???

The first time I ran wine, I ran through a setup process. I am guessing you didn't? I remember someone saying something about a wineconfig or maybe it was wine -config to get wine setup. Try messing around with those or similar options.

This is a copy of my WinMM section:

[WinMM]
"Drivers"="Wineoss.drv"
"WaveMapper"="msacm.drv"
"MidiMapper"="midimap.drv"
