Okay i've installed Kubuntu 7.04 64-bit PC edition on my AMD Sempron 2800+ with 768 MB RAM.
I installed wine via Konsole "sudo apt-get install wine"
after installation i issued the command "winecfg"
after a little processing i was logged out immediately. i logged in again and again issued the same command, the same thing happen again.
Now when i right click on any .exe file and select open with Wine Windows Emulator i got logged out immediately.
I uninstalled WINE 3 times and installed it again but the same problem resist.
So i need help in yhis isue.

I am also running Kubuntu 7.04 on my x64 system, but I can't get Wine to work either. In the system settings, I see WINE Windows Applications, but when I click on it, I get this:

It appears you do not have wine installed.
wine can be used to run some programs designed for Windows.
Please install the wine package to get this functionality.
