Wine problem: CD neseccity

Most programs that I wish to run require the CD of that program to be in the CD drive. The problem is that whenever I try to execute those files, that I have installed, through a desktop link, I recieve an error along the lines of: "CD is nesiccary to run this program, Cd cannot be found in Cd drive."

Obviously, I put the CD in, but it cannot be detected. Is there anything I can do?

Did you mount the CD? I don't think wine does that by itself.

Yes, the CD is in the drive, it just cannot be detected for some reason or another. Its not like I only tried it once either. It has never worked, no matter how long I leave it in.

What does the drive section of your wine.conf look like?
