wine problem
Ok I intalled wine by using ./configure make depend make and then make install. I looked like it worked fine but Everytime I try to do anything with wine it tells me "Segmentation Fault" and thats all it says. Im running Red Hat 9

Have you configured wine? If not you can do it very easily by googling for linuxconf-wineconf and downloading the RPM which will enable you to do it in linuxconf.
ok I downloaded the file but how does that help me with wine?
You're using RH9. Use the official RPMs we produce, get them from winehq.com and you'll be all set. Uninstall the version you installed from source first, of course.
and you could also look into downloading winetools for setting up your fake windows drive...click in my sig for the frankscorner link and you'll find it on that site....but make sure you get the rpm that mhearn said that is built for redhat 9 which is on sourceforge.net
im still getting the same error message even after installing the rpm
what can I do?
you still get a segmentation fault after installing the rpm? copy and paste the command you typed and the error message...and are you positive that you have your fake win drive set properly, or are you sure that you have your config file pointing to your win partition if thats what your using....go find the perl script called winecheck and run it and post your results...

ok I installed winetools and now I get the error
wine: error while loading shared libraries: libntdll.dll.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory |
Ok I found libntdll.dll.so in /usr/lib/wine so I dont know what's wrong

I reinstalled wine and now im getting the segmentation fault agian. I could only uninstall it through "make uninstall" in the source. I tried rpm -e wine, but It said I didnt have all of the dependences. How can this be?
