Wine On RedHat 9

Hi all . i try to install wine on my redhat9 but no luck so far . , .

any guides ? tips ? somthing

i have donwload wine-20030709-1rh8winehq.i386.rpm,
when i try to install it give me this eror :

when i try to run it . it : Password:
[root@10 tal]# wine

[root@10 tal]#

theres teh beginning of your problem, you tried to install the rpm for rh8...i didn't even finish reading the rest of your post just cause i noticed that right away.

and actually that is a common error in redhat 9, but try the redhat 9 rpm from sourceforget.net and see if you get around it

that the prob there is no rpm from redhat 9 that i see

ok i downloing that now wine-20030709-1rh9winehq.i386.rpm

when i try to install the rpm for redhat 9 it gives me the same eror .
rpm -i wine-20030709-1rh9winehq.i386.rpm

well you have to uninstall the rh8 rpm hence the conflicting error it gives you
rpm -e wine-20030709-1rh8winehq
