Thanks for the link. I went there, downloaded one of the versions, and it works perfectly. Its not native linux code so still uses wine. No messing about with dlls, it installed without any problems on my Suse 8.2

You deserve thanks not sarcastic comments from other users of this board.

Redhat 9.0

I get the following error
Unpacking DLL files...
tar: /home/jon/.wine/c/Windows/System: Cannot chdir: No such file or directory
tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now
Changing Wine configuration files...
Running K-Lite installer...

I checked and there _IS_ a ..../c/Windows/System where it looked...

I tried running the kpp.exe anyway, still can't find the dll's... HELP ;-(

Oh, on the link it says :"Projeto que cria um instalador completamente automatizado do Kazaa Lite para GNU/Linux utilizando Wine."
This means that itīs a project that creates a completely automatic installer for Kazaa lite for GNU/Linux using Wine...
Hope this helps

P.S. the "crazy ass language" as you called it is Portuguese

i'll rephrase it to say:

DrOzz is indeed a nice guy and one of the most actives and helpful guys in this forum, right together with the mods. I just thought the comment he did was not nice. I've nothing against him indeed and I thank him for the times he helped me out too

omg listen guys i am sorry, and you may or may not like what i am going to say, but what the hell is wrong with you guys?!?....what do you mean it wasn't nice to say, it wasn't meant to be a good or bad thing, all i friggen did was ask why the hell is wine needed for the kazaa built for linux....i am sorry if my terminology hurts your dainty little ears, but get over it, nothing i said should have offended anyone, just read how i wrote it...i am not calling the porteguese language ass, i said its written in some crazy ass language, to rephrase that, it means i am english and i don't understand any other language (other than a little french) and its crazy ass to me...
anyways this discussion is over, and no there is no hard feelings...i just had to get that off my chest cause its blowing my mind that whatever you think i said was "mean" is mind boggling.

anyways i forgot to mention, but on a final note, do not respond to that, just READ the context on how i mean what i said, and leave it like that, these fourms aren't here to be getting pissy pants about me saying a language is crazy to me, as its only here to help people and thats final....taking up 5+ posts to talk about this garbage is not necessary....anyways, thats where i'll leave this at.
