Wine installation trouble..

(I'm kinda new to linux, so go easy on me ^^)
I get this error when running programs:
wine: error while loading shared libraries: libntdll.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Now I've been reading around on how to fix it, and even read the readme file that is made with wine. They all seem to say the same thing.. Add the library folder path to /etc/ld.so.conf. And I think I've done that correctly. At the very end of the sentence, the help file says to run "ldconfig". That's kinda where I'm stuck, I don't know how to run it :/..

If one of you could please reply with some fairly simple instructions, I would greatly appreciate it.

I'm running Redhat 8.0. -_-

Problems with wine...

Well, If you are sure that /etc/ld.so.conf is okay, then all you have to do is to run the program "ldconfig". It has to be ran as root, otherway you'll get a "permission denied" - line on your console..

Read the man ldconfig for more details, and Good Luck. =)

-TH-

P.S I did also use wine for a looong time, and at least MS-Office 2000 worked just fine.. (Now I use OpenOffice.org on my both OS's..)
