Wine install making system hang

Hey I have been trying to install wine from wine-20030813-1rh8winehq.i686.rpm with kernal 2.4.20-9 I think it kind of half installed.

I type wine and get the following:

[root@localhost root]# wine
wine: error while loading shared libraries: libntdll.dll.so: cannot open shared
object file: No such file or directory

I have tried to remove wine but my terminal just seems to hang. I also tried to reinstall wine over the top of its self which also made the terminal hang.

Please Help!
Adam
