Exclamation Wine HELP...God im a newb


Ok, I've lived a windows little dream life , never touching linux until the bundle of poo started acting up...not feeling like messing with it i purchased Redhat 9.

Heres where my problem comes in:
Im told in order to run windows programs i need wine or winex, but being as ive never used linux before, i need to know;

1) Are there any other sources besides transgaming.
2) HOW EXACTLY TO I GET ANYHTING TO RUN IN THIS MESS???

I mean obviously this isnt poo poo microsoft double click mess, but im not sure the method used to execute a program...Would i go to run the type a jumble of things....SOMEONE please help.
