WIne help


Hey, I am trying to install Dreamweaver MX, and this error comes up when i try to run dcom95.exe :
Code:
[root@localhost download]# wine /apps/download/dcom95.exe
Warning: the specified Windows directory L"C:\\windows" is not accessible.
Warning: the specified System directory L"C:\\windows\\system" is not accessible.
Warning: could not find DOS drive for current working directory '/apps/download', starting in the Windows directory.
wine: cannot find '/apps/download/dcom95.exe'
[root@localhost download]# wine /home/sammy1822/dcom95.exe

Is there a typo in the wine config file?

ok, i edited the config file, no typos, what's wrong?

I got the same error message. make sure that in your '/home/(user)/.wine/dosdevices' directory, there is a symbolic link to '/home/(user)/.wine/drive_c'. if it's not there then you can do this:

cd /home/(user)/.wine/dosdevices/

ln -s ../drive_c ./c:

that got rid of THOSE error messages for me
