LinuxQuestions.org - Wine font problems with Sophocles 2005 beta

Okay, I've had Sophocles 2005 working w/ previous versions of wine. But for some reason, when I installed mdk10.2 (2005), that particular version of wine has my fonts set up all wierd:

Should be an easy fix right? This is actually the stable release of a previous version here.

However, in 2005 beta, I can't see any of the menu options until I mouse over them, and the icons are strange looking:

On the comand line where I launched the program I see:

each a TON of times.

yeah yeah yeah, find a linux version of the program. No one MAKES a screen writing program for Linux. And this program is awesome. There's a demo version available at:
