Wine fail for warhammer

I followed the guide at http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManage...sion&iId=13139 and when running wine warpatch.exe I get this only:
fixme:shdocvw:PersistStorage_InitNew (0x132ca8)->(0x6f2600)

I have tried messing with the winecfg but have not had any luck. If any one has any info I would appreciate it.

I have don't have a lot of exp with wine so if you need specific information please let me know how to get it.

Thanks for any help.

Hi Gonus,
I hope you've simply forgotten to update your profile and your not still running sarge. That would complicate life. As for Wine, never use it. If you are still running sarge, that may be the source of the problem.
cheers,
jdk

1. What video card are you using? Remember: Important - Not tested under AMD or ATI
2. Try a later version of wine?
3. Try alien arena. http://icculus.org/alienarena/rpa/ It looks like a good game and you don't need to mess with wine. It runs natively in linux.
cheers,
jdk

Quit warhammer

Well I gave up on warhammer until they have the Mac version released. I have a Mac as well and hope that when they release the Mac version it will be a lot easier to get it to run on linux. Thanx all.
