wine + dreamweaver, quits midway through install

Hi,
Macromedia have just released Dreamweaver 8, and I would realy like to try to get the trial to work on Linux (I haven't touched my Windows computer in months now, and don't fancy going near it). I haven't used wine much, as all my previous experiences have been failures.
I tried invoking wine to install dreamweaver by typing wine ~/dreamweaver-install.exe and it gets a little way into the install, and then suddenly quits. Looking at the output in the shell that I started it from, I get a lot of output mainly saying "fixmele:ITypeInfo_fnRelease destroy child objects" and "fixmele:RegisterTypeLib Registering non-oleautomation interface". Then there is a error: "Unhandled exception: page fault on read access to 0x030c000d in 32-bit code (0x10005632)." and a couple of dumps such as register and stack dumps. It is all cryptic to me :P
Anyway, I am using Debian Etch, with the 2.6.12-k7 kernel, wine --version says Wine 20050628. Dreamweaver is the new version 8 trial. If you want the whole output from wine or any other information please ask. Thanks in advance,
Tom.

What I understand is that version of Dreamweaver isn't supported... however, CrossOffice might do it ... an I emphasize MIGHT... but it can't hurt to give it a try as it supports so many other apps too... http://www.codeweavers.com/products/...orted_apps/... go take a look at apps that are known as of now to be supported. You might be suprised.

PS - Why do you use Dreamweaver? I use Homesite..... and can't imagine switching. So, I'm curious.
