Wine + Direct X 9 needed
 
I have installed a windows game using wine that requires direct X 8.1. Do I have to install this seprately or will the game run fine without this? Thanks ;)

You need Winex3. Winex3.1 is the latest version. Check out www.transgaming.com They provide a version of wine that has built in support for directX games that regular versions of wine do not contain.

You have to have a subscription to get access to their downloads section.
