export LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.2.5
then build the source rpm. It works for me too.

But my problem is when I try to install the built rpms, I got
libntdll.dll.so is needed by wine-20030408-1rh8winehq

Ok, I seem to have got it working to some extent, this is what happens now.

[root@Redhat_Linux_9 root]# wine /mnt/cdrom1/aoesetup.exe
Invalid path L"c:\\WINNT" for L"windows" directory: does not exist.
Perhaps you have not properly edited or created your Wine configuration file,
which is (supposed to be) '/root/.wine/config'.

Don't run Wine as root. Upgrade to the latest version, drive letter/mapping problems are fixed there.
