Yes. Wine is not an emulator as such, rather it's just an implementation of the windows API - or the dlls and libs that the windows apps need to call. It's more similar to any other lib, like qt or gtk...

Just be sure that, weather you run cedega or a linux native game like doom, you have a card supporting opengl with whatever the latest stable drivers for your card needs. I have an Nvidia 5600 ultra, and have had no problems. I've heard that ATI cards can be a pain...
