Wine and software protection dongles

I've been using linux for quite a long time and my dad seem to like it aswell and wants to switch to it.

Only problem with that is that, hes got a program on his computer that he uses that has a HASP4 protection dongle and i wasnt sure if that would work with wine.

So i tried tried to install the softeware on wine, the install worked, but when i try to run the program it gives me a message saying that the dongle is not connected, even though it is.

I've installed the windows drivers which i got from the ealaddin site, but this did not help.

I also tried to Linux drivers and that did not help etheir.

Im using fedora core 3 to try it.

Does any one know how i can get it to work

(sorry cant post the logs rite now, im not at the computer)
