wine and outlook 2000

I was able to get another office2k cd and it is also a select but is not the premium version. I attempt the install and get the same office1.cab error. I also copied this cd to my harddrive and chmod 777 the whole dir to make sure it was not permsissions. I get the same error, it is below:

Error 1311. Source file F:\office\OFFICE1.CAB. Verify that the file exist and that you can access it.

Any suggestion? Thanks

Hi zuessh,

I tried to install IE5 and experienced the exact same problem you mentioned in post #8 (call to unimplemented function shdocvw.dll.101 etc.)
In your next post you seemed to have fixed this problem, but you don't give a clue how you did it.

Could you explain what you did differently when you finally got IE5 to work?
