Wine And Kazaa


hiya i have a new problem um i installed wine on mandrake 9.2 and works fine cause i configed it with winesetuptk and now when go to install kazaa lite k++ edition 1.7.1 i get an error message i googled for my answer and all i got was install klitkpp1.7.1 and i still got my err message please help if need more info please ask

Um... do you think you could please repost that without using one long, confusing, run-on sentence? And please, provide the specific error message as well. Thanks!

im not here for english class so be nice its a question thanks. n e way its a message loading x11drv and when kazaa comes up its there for a short period of time then a diolage box comes up and says cannot load topsearch.dll i downloaded it and put the .dll where all the others are but it still shows up.

i suggest you dont use kazaa...i like gtk gnutella alot better and its 100% compatible.

im using that right now and i dont like it, the reason i want to use kazaa is because you can play audio and video in the app thats y i like kazaa

Well, you could always try limewire.... it's at www.limewire.com -- it runs on the Gnutella network but it's more like KaZaA than gtk-gnutella and it also has an integrated media player (or you can just configure helper apps, like I do, such as mplayer, xmms, etc.)

If you're into "true open source" you could always visit limewire.org (not .com) and compile it yourself. But the semi-commercial binary available at '.com works perfectly fine for me.
