WINE and CUPS-need help badly

I'm trying to print to a printer that's been set up successfully via CUPS on KDE through WINE. The reason is that I am being forced to use a proprietary piece of windows software at work which I got working through WINE.. except for printing. If you folks can help me figure out how to set up my win.ini file and/or my wine config and/or my /etc/printcap file I would be very very grateful. Here's a brief history:

1) installed wine and told it to use the real windows directory on my dual boot. Doing this caused an unhandled exception crash whenever I tried to print.

2) installed wine using a fake_windows install. Now I don't get the option to print (it's greyed out) and the page setup option doesn't do anything.

After talking with somebody on this winehq forum I believe the easier thing is to troubleshoot #2. To this effect I am posting the wine config, win.ini, and /etc/printcap file. In this file, the printer is sitting on a XP machine with coordinates //Newark/HPLaserJ (it's an HP LaserJet 6)

Again.. any pointers would be appreciated..

;; MS-DOS drives configuration
;;
;; Each section has the following format:
;; [Drive X]
;; "Path"="xxx" (Unix path for drive root)
;; "Type"="xxx" (supported types are 'floppy', 'hd', 'cdrom' and 'network')
;; "Label"="xxx" (drive label, at most 11 characters)
;; "Serial"="xxx" (serial number, 8 characters hexadecimal number)
;; "Filesystem"="xxx" (supported types are 'msdos'/'dos'/'fat', 'win95'/'vfat', 'unix')
;; This is the FS Wine is supposed to emulate on a certain
;; directory structure.
;; Recommended:
;; - "win95" for ext2fs, VFAT and FAT32
;; - "msdos" for FAT16 (ugly, upgrading to VFAT driver strongly recommended)
;; DON'T use "unix" unless you intend to port programs using Winelib !
;; "Device"="/dev/xx" (only if you want to allow raw device access)
