wine and cdrom

Hi;

I got wine working nicely and can install/run programs (specifically games). Though when I run a program that needs the cdrom, wine says that it cant find the cdrom and quits. This is the relavent section of ~/.wine/config

[Drive X]
"Path" = "/mnt/cdrom"
"Type" = "cdrom"
"Label" = "CD-Rom"
"Filesystem" = "win95"
"Device" = "/dev/cdrom"

And here is my dosdrives directory:
a: -> /mnt/fd0
c: -> /apps/wind/
d: -> /cdrom
e: -> /tmp
f: -> /home/garade/
x:: -> /mnt/cdrom/
z: -> //

all but x came with wine install. (drive d nor x being recognized as cdrom).
Does anyone have any ideas of what I can do?

Thanks alot

Wine has cd support, but does *not* include copy protection support. So if you're trying to run a game that requires the CD to be inserted, it will *not* be able to detect the cd. I do not know why this is.

You may be able to patch whatever program you're trying to run with a no-cd crack available somewhere online through some shady organization.

Is there a "[Drive D]" section in your wine config file? If so, what does it contain?
