Wine and Auto-start service L"MountMgr" failed to start: 2

I am trying to install a Windows app which fails with the bad EXE error. I am guessing it is because the MountMgr cannot start. While the built-in Wine apps work, they all give the same MountMgr error when started. How do I troubleshoot this? TIA.
